· Research the company and position so you know what you are getting in to. · Prepare some questions so that it becomes a two way conversation. · Dress appropriately and remember to avoid extremes in presentation. · Take your time, think and answer all aspects of the question. · Keep answers on track and summarize at the end. · Answers should include examples which show that you have proof of your ability. · Engage the interviewer so they see the real you or at least the potential you. · Don’t be afraid to discuss money but do that towards the end of the interview. · Behavioural event interviewing is just asking for examples of what you have done or would do in a situation. · When you finish, thank them for their time and ask what the next step in the process is. |
